## Description

Every book hides a curse - and someone willing to pay the price. When a rare-book dealer is found dead after selling a manuscript of The Three Musketeers, investigator Lucas Corso follows a trail of forgery, satanic texts and obsession across Europe. Blending history, mystery and menace, Pérez-Reverte’s The Dumas Club is both homage and warning - a cerebral thriller about collectors who’ll trade their souls for a first edition. ‘Stylish, intelligent and utterly absorbing’ The Times ‘A riveting literary mystery steeped in intrigue and danger’ El País
