## Description

When Maddie’s carefully planned life collapses — her job gone, her relationship over — the last thing she expects is to win a house in an online raffle. But when she and her best friend arrive on a Channel Island to claim the prize, they discover the house is anything but a dream: it’s crumbling, chaotic, and comes with more history (and locals) than either of them bargained for. As Maddie decides whether to sell up or start again, she finds friendship, romance and a community she never knew she needed. Warm, funny and uplifting, this is a rom-com about second chances, unlikely wins, and what happens when life hands you something completely unexpected.
