Monstrous Myths: Terrible Tales of Ancient Greece

The myths and legends of Ancient Greece are a rich source of storytelling, culture and history. Children will meet heroes like Perseus and Heracles and scary monsters like Medusa and the Minotaur. Some they will be familiar with and some they may discover for the first time! Told in a humorous style but these books are jam-packed with facts about the beliefs of ancient cultures. A variety of imaginative visual and textual devices are used to great effect. For example, some stories are styled as newspaper reports, while others are made to look like recipes.
