Cricket Readers: The Magic Bat

Mikey wants to be on the school cricket team, but he knows he needs to improve his batting. Then Auntie Joan gives him a fantastic gift - the magic bat that her Grandfather used to teach her. Mikey soon becomes a great batsman, but can he still do it without the magic bat? In Winning, John is also not a good player. Andy is already a good player, but learns an important lesson about helping your friends, no matter how difficult they might find the game. Get Caught Reading is a series of fiction and non-fiction readers each with a cricketing theme.
