## Description

Georges Gerfaut lives a steady life: a wife, two daughters, a well-paid job, and a perfectly respectable passion for jazz. But a moment of uncharacteristic kindness sets in motion a murderous chain of events. Hunted by hired killers and forced to abandon his family, Gerfaut goes unwillingly off-grid into the solitude of the mountains. Cut loose from the routines and responsibilities that once defined him, he discovers an unexpected exhilaration in becoming someone new: a man with a brutal capacity for revenge. In his masterpiece, Three to Kill , Manchette turns the classic man-on-the-run thriller into a savage portrait of modern alienation. Cool, relentless, and darkly funny, it exposes the violence lurking beneath the comforts of modern life.
