Great Again?

Provocative, challenging but with the ever-reasonable voice we are so familiar with from the BBC's 'Today' and 'Americast', Justin Webb presents the argument that Trump is not all bad. That with the buffoonery and chaos there is also humour and drive. That in any case, in many areas Trump had the backing of a wide range of Americans, including many who did not particularly like the man himself. His second administration was in response to what came before. And also to social media, and circumstances no president had previously had to deal with. He made his opportunities and also surfed a wave. And while for him the wave may have broken, for America it is still rolling. This is book about America – the one that exists now and the one that’s emerging, with Trump or without him, for better or worse. Trump did not get re-elected with a plan. He is as much an algorithm as a man, iteration built on iteration. So what got him elected? How should the Democrats respond? What happens next and what will it all mean for us?
