Nebula Rising

Temmi Ialan — engineering prodigy, former trash collector and contestant on the #1 TV show in the Expan Empire, Love Galaxy — has taken on a new starring role. Public Enemy #1. After being rescued by a mysterious rebel group calling themselves the Freedom Collective, or TFC, Temmi learns that her brother has been taken captive by the empire and agrees to act as TFC’s public face and spokesperson in return for their help rescuing him. At the heart of the empire, Princess Spie Expani is playing a role of her own. Determined to outmanoeuvre her twin brother and secure her position as imperial successor, Spie must carefully maintain her public image — even as she leads a dangerous double life. Secretly aligned with the very rebels threatening her family’s rule, Spie is caught between loyalty and betrayal. As Temmi rises as the face of the rebellion and Spie fights to claim the imperial throne, they find themselves locked in a battle of competing broadcasts, ideals, and loyalties. Drawn back together by shared history, desire and guilt, their chemistry refuses to fade — even as every choice pulls them further apart. In a world where love is political and trust is a weapon, Temmi and Spie must decide if they can rewrite the narrative — or if they’re destined to be each other’s downfall.
