The Italian Affair

The gripping, sun-drenched, twisty new thriller from the Sunday Times bestselling author of The Spy Coast and The Summer Guests . Small town local cop Jo Thibodeau has won a prize holiday to Italy, venturing away from Purity for her first holiday in... forever? But she soon loses patience with her whiny, annoying tour group, ditching them to embark on a one night stand with a gorgeous stranger. A few days later a tour boat sinks in Lago Maggiore, and several tourists are drowned. Jo's body is recovered from the lake. Her friends Maggie and Declan accompany Jo's devastated father and brother from Purity to Italy, to bring home the body. But when they view it in the morgue, they're stunned to find that the blonde woman on the autopsy table isn't Jo, but a nameless stranger. If Jo's not dead, where is she? *Thrilling, twisty and relentlessly gripping, The Italian Affair is Tess Gerritsen at her very best.*
