About The Book Quiver
The Book Quiver is a catalogue of books published in English: authors, translators, series and every edition we know of, linked to the same works in other languages.
What you will find here
Series in reading order, volume by volume, with the sub-cycles inside the larger ones.
Every edition of a book side by side: ISBN, publisher, binding, page count and cover.
Translators and the books they translated, and the same book in the other languages of the catalogue.
Where the data comes from
Book records come from publishers' and booksellers' catalogues, and descriptions from the publishers.
Editors then put them in order: they merge duplicate entries, separate different people who share a name, assign books to series and link translations to their originals. A correction is made in the catalogue itself, so it shows on every page that draws on it.
Who runs the catalogue
The Book Quiver is part of the Quill Guild platform, together with its sister catalogues in Polish (Kołczan Książek) and Spanish (Archivo de Libros).
