The story of a small but significant Tuscan winery seen in the context of the history of Chianti Classico, traced back through the centuries as far as the Etruscan origins of the name Riecine. A story of women and men, of families, of strong personalities and of wines that have helped make this marvellous corner of the world internationally famous. In this book, you’ll find the last half-century of history also recounted by the wines themselves, the wines born year after year from Riecine’s vineyards. This history has brought us to a renaissance, promoted by the current and very active owners, new vines have joined and modern techniques are used alongside traditional ones, all in order to continue to allow Chianti Classico—a terroir and a wine, both of which have gone through radical changes over the years—to speak.
