Philip K Dick is Dead, Alas

" a wonderfully inventive novel and a lovingly crafted homage" - Publisher's Weekly 1982. It's a dark time: Richard M. Nixon is in his fourth term of the 'imperial Presidency', civil liberties are under threat, protest is unsafe, and an eccentric novelist named Philip K. Dick has just died. Why, then, does the recently deceased author walk into Psychiatrist Lia Pickford M. D.'s office asking for help, with a taxicab idling outside? Dr. Pickford's husband, Cal Pickford - a longtime Dick fan - is thrilled by the news. So begins a series of events, involving dissidents and rebels, all leading up to a fateful confrontation between Dick, Cal, and President Nixon... on the moon. Mirroring Philip K. Dick's characterisation and style, this is a brilliant homage to one of the best science fiction writers of all time.
