Someone hurt your patient What if it was your son? Since she was attacked at university, Lara hasn't been able to recognise a face - not even her own. With Lara unable to provide an eyewitness account and no other leads, her attacker was never found. As a neurologist specialising in trauma, Maddy has always taken pride in helping people. So when Lara makes a breakthrough in one of their sessions, it should be cause for celebration. But, for Maddy, it is the start of a nightmare. For the first time in two years, Lara has recognised someone in a photo: Maddy's son. And soon Maddy is forced to confront an unbearable question: If her son is responsible for hurting Lara, does she stand by her patient . . . or protect her child?
