Charlotte Clapp has worked in a bank in a small New Hampshire town all her life, and it's been a pretty dull existence. She's overweight and loveless, and a decades-long falling out with her best friend leaves her truly miserable. But when a routine doctor's visit brings the unwanted revelation that she has one year to live, Charlotte decides she had better make that year count. She quits her job, and right after her farewell party, she steals two million dollars from the bank and heads to LA to live a better life. Charlotte lands in LA, buys a million dollar apartment (in cash, all tens and twenties) and starts anew as Blossom McBeal, an eccentric millionaire who falls in love with Skip the pool guy and swims laps late at night for relaxation. Suddenly the pounds start dropping off, and her burgeoning friendship with Skip could turn into something more... but will her criminal past prevent her from finally finding true love?
