Animal Science: Swallow’s Long Flight

Swallow lives with thousands of other swallows in a huge flock. The days are getting shorter and colder so Swallow must travel 10,000 kilometres to her other home where summer is just starting! Over this long journey, readers will learn about seasons, flight, different habitats, how birds can find their way and more. Animal Science is a gentle non-fiction nature picture book series for age 5+ that uses innate animal behaviour to simply explain key science topics.
