BULLESHAH

This book is based on the personality and accomplishments of the famous Punjabi saint and poet, Bulleshah. Bulleshah’s name is intertwined with the subtle fragrance of Punjab’s soil; he is highly revered as a Sufi poet all across North India. He always shunned the caste system and stood against hypocrisy and was convinced of the power of nurturing an unwavering love for God. His verse was brimming with the essence of Punjabi folk culture. Each one of his works is reflective of the truth of life and the universe. Bulleshah was, in reality, merely a singer and poet dedicated to the cause of human well-being. This book contains representative poems in Punjabi and Urdu about Bulleshah, with their Hindi versions.
