The Treasures

A treasure. A family. A lifetime. Every year, Alice's father gave her a treasure. But by the morning of her sixteenth birthday, her final gift has vanished and with it the fragile certainty of her world. Alice runs – towards New York City, and away from the memories of that last golden summer at the orchard where she grew up. Across the Atlantic, Tom spent his childhood losing so many of the things and people that really mattered to him. Then a forgotten letter comes to light, and Tom leaves Sevenstones – the house that has shaped his family for generations – to find a truth long kept hidden. When Alice and Tom collide, will the precious secrets that bind them bring them closer, or break them apart? An enthralling, unputdownable love story that spans continents, years and families, from the Sunday Times bestselling author Harriet Evans.
