Sammy's Hill

Meet Samantha Joyce. Bright, articulate and hard-working, Sammy is a political aide to die for. Seventy-hour working weeks? No problem. Conniving hacks? Handled. The very model of efficiency, Sammy takes the cut-throat world of Washington in her stride. But lurking beneath this highly-professional veneer is another Sammy. A caffeine and cosmopolitan fuelled Sammy who's prone to flights of highly-imaginative fancy. A Sammy who's not above begging her Japanese Fighting Fish not to commit hara kiri. A Sammy who's just met Aaron Driver, a speechwriter who has one significant flaw: he works for her boss's biggest rival. None of this is anything to worry about. Ordinarily. But when you're trying to run a national political campaign whilst being beleaguered by scheming journos and treacherous colleagues, and starting what seems to be a very exciting relationship, surely something's got to give?
